This book was carried around by Paul to get all the autographs in person. This book was hand signed in person by the following, Joe Williams, Gerry Mulligan, Shorty Rodgers, George shearling, Laurudo Almeda, Horace Silver, Milt Jackson, Mel Tormé, Lee Kunitz, Anita O'Day, Bud Shank, Jack Sheldon, Dakota Stanton, and Quincy Jones, That is a total of 14 autographs throughout the book on the artist cover page. The Centerfold of the book was signed at the back to Balboa Canton reunion concert in Newport Beach California dated 6/1/1999 there are a total of 27 autographs. The 27 autographs are from Pete Rugalo, Conte Condoli, Lee Nicholas, Leonardo Almeda, Bud Jones, Bill Russo, Jack Nimitz, Ralph Blaize, Bob Cooper, Leo Omar, Jack Constanza, Bud shank, Vic Lewis, Marti Paich, Pete Condoli, Vic lewis, Chris Connor, Maynard Ferguson, Bob Goiga, Anita O'Day, George Morte, Dick Nash, Buddy Childers, Shorty Rogers, gene England, Bill Perkins and Bob Fitzpatrick.
The book contains a total of 41 amazing autographs. Scarce limited 1st edition book signed by Claxton published by Twelvetrees Pressa from 1987. Book is in excellent condition.
Dust jacket has some shelf wear from carrying it around to be signed by the artist. It took 3 days at the Stan Kenton concert to be signed. I wasn'tt able to add all the photos so please message me if you want to see more photos.
